How much should I expect Moonwalk Insurance to cost?
There is no easy answer to this. It greatly depends on your choice of insurance provider, the city and state you do business in and certainly the types of Inflatables you operate. Slides and water inflatables are much more expensive than a standard Bounce House. It also depends on how many inflatable units you have. A discount is usually substantial when several units are being insured. It is safe to say that each unit will be at around $300-$700. This figure can easily go up or down depending on the above mentioned factors. It should also be noted that some insurance companies view different manufacturers differently. They like to see an established manufacturer who is know to carry liability insurance themselves.
If I have insurance will I still need to have the renters sign a moonwalk rental agreement and liability waiver?
In most cases the answer is YES. Inflatable game insurance will only cover you if they find that you were negligent in some way. For example the Bouncy Castle rips and a child is seriously injured. You would be responsible for those medical bills and pain and suffering, and most likely pay any attorney fees. On the other hand if your rental agreement states that no one over 12 is allowed in the moonwalk and a child was injured because of this. You would most likely not be held responsible. Because of this most insurance companies require a liability waiver be used.
Yes. Although it MAY not be required by law. When dealing with children and parents, you would have to be crazy to run an inflatable moonwalk company without insurance.
